I find that I really enjoy hanging out with people outside of the business. Going for long walks, talking about our families, travelling, writing postscards for Harris! Gets me out of my head. And, Chicago misses you, Michael.

It’s so important to have hobbies and interests outside of acting! You’re absolutely correct. I love to needlepoint and binge watch series. Currently watching suits. Last night I went to a dive bar with a friend from high school and danced to 80’s music!

I've been playing Dungeons & Dragons for 38 years and I love it! To be fair, their is acting involved, the "roleplay" part of tabletop roleplaying games, but it's a very different experience than on-camera or on-stage acting. It's a team-building exercise conducted through improv and collaborative storytelling to tell stories of high fantasy. I love it so much! I record it and releases it as a podcast, then my wife and I listen to us playing whenever we drive anywhere :)

Michael of all the wonderful posts I’ve seen and read here, this one’s up at the top! Having just come back from a picnic with a load of people who weren’t actors, I can vouch for what you say here. Still, I can always find more time to watch ‘stupid movies and insult my friends’ - even the thought of you doing that sounds like fun!
